Making Tomorrow A Little Better Than Today
Democratic Primary · August 6, 2026 · TN-04
The people of District 4 deserve someone in Washington who fights for them — not the party, not the donors, not the politics.
The candidate
Why I'm running.
I'm running for Congress to give a voice to the people of my community. My community is mostly people of color and women and I've watched their freedoms being stripped away in recent years.
I will no longer sit on the sidelines and watch my friends dragged from their homes. I won't sit by and let men tell women what they can and cannot do with their bodies. Our bodies, our choice.
I need the people of Tennessee to know they can trust at least one gray haired white man. I won't take corporate money and I will raise the tide in Washington.
I can't fix all the problems in this country when I'm elected, but I will make tomorrow a little better than today.
The campaign
A vision for a brighter tomorrow.
Tim's running because the district's problems are solvable - you have the answers. Our job is to listen, then fight.
The platform
Key focus areas for District 4.
Affordable, dignified living
Housing costs, grocery bills, and healthcare have outpaced wages. We need targeted, accountable policy — not slogans.

Tim Lanier isn't as important to this process
as Team Lanier is.
I can't do this alone. Chip in and help us make tomorrow a little better than today.
